Nghỉ hè đc 1 tuần, làm cái entry bắt đầu cho 1 tháng 7 nhàn hạ cho đỡ vui...


Rivendell, cái tên này xa lạ hầu hết với ngay các Rocker.
Họ là 1 band chơi epic folk, black doom metal hàng đầu đến từ Áo, đồng hương đồng khói với Estatic Fear.
Trước hết, cái tên Rivendell đã cho chúng ta biết họ chịu ảnh hưởng từ Lord of the rings dư lào dồi

Âm nhạc của họ cũng đẹp như xứ sở thần thánh trong LOTR vậy. mang chất epic như trong phim, chơi phong cách folk đặc trưng của người phương bắc, nhạc của Rivendell có sự u buồn của Doom và Black giống EF. không chỉ vậy, Rivendell còn có 1 số khúc symphonic chơi theo lối hiện đại, những đoạn acoustic power tươi vui iêu đời đến ko ngờ :))

Album của họ khá ít người nghe, mềnh mới có 3 đĩa, khá thú vị.
Những đĩa đầu của họ chơi cực kì sáng tạo, họ có composer quá đỉnh mà 2 bài dưới đei ae sẽ thấy, nhưng các đĩa sau tớ thấy ít chất folk đi, nỗi buồn của traditional doom cũng dần mất, thay vào đó, chất black - meloblack và power đậm hơn như phong cách sweddish metal (album The ancient glory).
Nói thật là tớ cái phong cách progressive, power hiện đại đập dồn dập nghe nhàm tai vđ :( ngay cả với agalloch, doom metal của họ u sầu nhưng chả có tí tẹo nào sáng tạo cả, nhàm nốt!

The Silmaril she bound on him

from Otherworld beyond the Sea

and long-forsaken seas.

And over Middle-earth he passed
and heard at last the weeping sore
of women and of elven-maids
in Elder Days, in years of yore.
But on him mighty doom was laid,
till Moon should fade, an orbéd star.
